What is MOXI?
MOXI is a non-ablative 1927 nm fractional laser that delivers controlled energy into the skin to create thousands of microscopic treatment zones. Because it’s non-ablative, MOXI doesn’t remove the top layer of skin, making it a low-downtime option for resurfacing. What to Expect
Each treatment takes about 30 minutes. Your provider will cleanse the skin, apply a topical anesthetic for comfort, and protect your eyes before performing the procedure. The MOXI handpiece glides over the skin, delivering uniform laser energy to the targeted areas. You may feel a warm or prickling sensation as the laser passes over the skin, but treatment is generally well tolerated.
While some patients see improvement after one session, most achieve optimal results with a series of two to four treatments spaced several weeks apart.
